A strong defensive game led Cardington to a 42-24 win at Highland on Saturday.
The Lady Pirates jumped out to a 12-4 lead after the first quarter and extended their advantage to a 25-10 margin by the half. Both team scored six in the third quarter before Cardington took an 11-8 edge in the fourth to put the finishing touches on their win.
Both Beth Hardwick and Karsyn Edwards hit three times from three-point range in the game, with Hardwick scoring a game-high 13 points and Edwards adding nine. Emma West finished with 10 points to pace the Scots.
