On Wednesday, the Highland girls’ bowling team swept East Knox in a pair of matches held between the two teams.

The Lady Scots took the first match by a 1668-655 margin. Senior Camryn Taylor broke the girls’ school record with a 268 game, which was tops in the match. She also broke the high series record with a total score of 419. Camberly Schade added a game of 176.

They won the second game by a near-identical margin, topping the Bulldogs 1628-662 score. Heather Ross’ score of 194 paced the team in the competition.

The boys’ team had one match with East Knox, which they won by a 1960-1803 score. James Blaney had scores of 191 and 183 to lead the Scots, while Tyler Disbennett rolled a 179 game and Jackson Nelson recorded a score of 169.
