Highland and Cardington split a Wednesday bowling match hosted by the Scots. Cardington won the boys’ competition, while Highland picked up a win in the girls’ match.

The Pirate boys took a 2110-1924 win. Silas Horton of Cardington led all scorers with a 227 game and 440 series. Also for the Pirates, Tyler Kintz had a game of 202, Mike Blake had one of 201 and Eric Hilton recorded a 190 game.

Highland got games of 178 and 175 from Tyler Disbennett. Other good games came from Jesse Reigles (181), Tucker Tague (177) and Trevor Stewart (171).

In the girls’ competition, Highland claimed a 1643-1582 decision. Freshman Elyssa Reigles led the team with a 211 game and 386 series. For Cardington, Payton Goodman recorded a 180 game for their top showing.
