The MG girls picked up a KMAC win on Wednesday, pulling away from Northmor in the fourth quarter to earn a 51-42 decision over the Golden Knights.
The Indians trailed their opponents by a 13-11 margin after eight minutes of play, but rallied to hold a slim 22-20 lead at the half. The game was still close at 33-30 going into the fourth quarter, but Mount Gilead took an 18-12 advantage down the stretch to wind up on top by a nine-point margin.
