Kenyon College freshman Quinn Harrigan was recognized as the first North Coast Athletic Conference Women’s Runner of the Week for the first week of the 2015 cross country season. Her selection was based on her individual finish in the Ladies’ September 1 dual meet with Ohio Wesleyan University.
In that season-opening meet, which went unscored, Harrigan led a pack of 36 runners to the finish line on the 4k home course. She clocked in at 16:25.1 and won the race by more than 11 seconds over second-place finisher and classmate Andrea Ludwig.
Harrigan, Ludwig and the rest of the Ladies will return to the Kenyon course Saturday to host the 5k NCAC Preview at 10 a.m.
