Mount Gilead’s Mallory Graham advanced to the district golf meet in Division II of the Central District on Wednesday.

Competing at Mill Creek Golf Course, Graham shot 81 to finish third overall and take the second of three individual qualifying spots. Rena So of qualifying team Worthington Christian won the meet by shooting 77, while Pleasant’s Dina Shah earned the first individual spot with a round of 79.

Graham will next compete on Monday at Darby Creek Golf Course, Marysville, where only the top team and top individual not on that team will advance to the state meet. She will tee off at 10:20 a.m.

The Highland Lady Scots competed as a team, finishing in sixth place with a score of 443. Nine teams competed for three tickets to districts.

Their top golfers were Savannah Fitzpatrick and Annabelle Zerby, who both shot 108 to tie for 28th place. Brooklyn Baird tied for 33rd with a round of 111, while Tabitha Arnold took 36th, scoring 116. Also, Mallory Jones shot 130 for 48th place.

Also, Northmor’s Braelyn Ingles shot 124 to tie for 39th place.
