For the Northmor volleyball team to maintain their recent success (21-3 record last year), they will have to make up for the loss of six seniors who played a huge role in their team’s performance.

Kelsey Reeder, Alisha Pletcher and Allie Tupps were all four-year letterwinners, while Lauren Bood lettered three times and both Jamie VanDerKooi and Megan Milavec earned two letters.

Four letter-winners return for head coach Kara Wright, though, giving her experience to build around. Mikayla Briggs was named to the second team in the Central District last year and also received honorable mention recognition in the Mid-Ohio Athletic Conference. She is joined by returnees Karlee Carroll, Lindsey Wiseman and Cristianna Boggs.

The coach is also expecting Jordyn Zoll, Rayanna Loyer, Erica McElvain and Hope Miracle to make impacts for the team this season.

“We want to build unity and continue success as a program,” she said.

As far as the conference goes, Wright looks at Highland and Elgin as being the teams to beat in the Blue Division.
