Fredericktown claimed both the team trophies at the 2015 Northmor Cross Country Invitational on Monday.

The Freddies’ girls team tallied 29 points to top Northmor, which finished with 45 points. North Union placed third with 106 points.

Northmor’s Kristen Duryea captured the individual championship, finishing the 5-kilometer course in 21 minutes, 1.75 seconds. Fredericktown’s Rachel Tumbleson placed second, posting a time of 21:12.35.

Abbie Johnson of Lucas was 16 seconds off of Duryea’s pace, finishing in third place with a time of 21:17.84. Fredericktown’s Molly Linhares and Emily Cobb placed fourth and fifth, respectively. Linhares’ time was 21:23.19. Cobb’s time was 21:32.73.

Emma Hayward of North Union came in sixth place with a time of 21:37.31. Fredericktown’s Rachel Caputo finished seventh with a time of 21:38.8. Northmor’s Samantha Peters claimed eighth place, posting a time of 21:40.48.

Rounding out the top 10 were Gabbi Kowalczyk of Pleasant who finished ninth with a time of 21:51.74, and Tessa Medrano from Village Academy, who placed 10th with a time of 21:56.46.

Kennedy Cramer was the top runner for Buckeye Valley. She placed 20th with a time of 23:20.27.

Sophia Thompson of Highland was the Scots’ top runner, finishing 13th with a time of 22:24.77.

Crestline’s top runner was Caitlyn Harley, whose time of 24:00.43 was good for 31st place.

Fredericktown’s boys squad recorded 33 points to claim first place. Buckeye Valley was the runner-up with 60 points. Northmor finished third with 106 points.

Zach Kreft of Buckeye Valley captured the individual championship, finishing the 5-kilometer course in 16:17.39.

Four Freddies’ runners finished among the top 10 at Northmor. Wyat Harmon came in second with a time of 16:56.43. Zac Stalnaker placed third, posting a time of 17:27.51. Bradley Wolford finished in eighth place with a time of 18:40.52. Caleb Carter’s time of 18:40.98 was good for ninth.

Garrett Schilling from North Union claimed fourth place with a time of 18:10.47. Gavin Shearer of Buckeye Valley finished fifth, posting a time of 18:11.53. Northmor’s Spencer Adams finished in sixth place, completing the course in 18:29.65. Gavin Shindeldecker from Lucas came in seventh with a time of 18:32.10. Connor Pollard from Lucas crossed the finish line in 18:41.71 to claime 10th place.

Brad Mohre was the top runner for Gilead Christian. He placed 16th with a time of 19:16.77.

Trenton Langjahr was Buckeye Central’s top runner, finishing in 34th place with a time of 20:18.30.

Dalton Lee of Highland placed 36th with a time of 20:21.67 to lead the Scots.

Crestline’s top runner was Kevin Winkler who finished 52nd with a time of 21:01.67.

In the girls middle school race, Mount Gilead won the team title and Northmor placed second. Jessica Duryea from Northmor captured the individual title with a time of 12:44.61.

Highland won the middle school boys championship. Fredericktown finished second and Mount Gilead was third. Branton Howard of Highland won the individual title with a time of 11:27.74.
