Highland improved to 20-1 and 13-0 in league play Tuesday with a 25-12, 25-13, 25-13 win on the road against East Knox.

Kendall Stover tallied 13 kills in the match, while both Makenna Belcher and Kenzee Bargnesi had seven each. Gena West had five kills, Kacie O’Leary added three aces and both Darcie Walters and Ashlynn Belcher finished with two aces each.

The JV and freshman teams also earned wins in the match.

Northmor Knights

Northmor topped Centerburg in Tuesday night volleyball in four sets by scores of 25-19, 25-13, 21-25 and 25-10.

Anna Donner had 20 digs to reach the 1000-dig milestone and also contributed one ace, 17 kills and 14 assists. Macy Miracle tallied four aces, six kills and 15 assists; while Hanna Bentley had three aces and four blocks and Aly Blunk added 14 digs. Lily Tate finished with 10 digs, four kills and eight assists and Leslie Brubaker had 17 kills and four blocks. Also, Abby Donner had 12 digs and Julianne Kincaid added four kills and two blocks.

Both the freshman and JV teams added wins for the Knights.

Cardington Pirates

Cardington fell to Fredericktown in a Tuesday volleyball match by scores of 18-25, 18-25, 18-25.

Paige Clinger finished the night with 12 kills and as many digs, while Hannah Wickline finished with six solo blocks.
