With a three-set win over East Knox combined with a Northmor loss on Tuesday, the Highland volleyball team 20-1, 13-0 in league play) claimed the Knox Morrow Athletic Conference championship and their fifth-straight league title overall.

In their 25-7, 25-10, 25-12 win over the Bulldogs, Bridget Oder broke the Highland digs record previously held by Ashton Terrill (2013-16), who had a total of 1350 for her career. Currently, Oder has 1364. Also, Raina Terry had 10 kills, Makenna Belcher tallied eight kills, Bailey Santo had seven kills and Krista Walters picked up five kills and three aces.

Northmor Knights

Northmor suffered its second loss in volleyball to Centerburg in a five-set match on Tuesday by scores of 22-25, 25-17, 22-25, 25-21 and 12-15.

The Knights (17-2, 11-2 in league play) got four blocks, 39 assists, five kills, 11 digs and three aces from Jordyn Zoll; while Leslie Brubaker had seven blocks and 14 kills and Anna Donner finished with four blocks, 18 kills and 21 digs. Caitlin Thebeault tallied 25 assists, 15 kills and two aces and Kelsie Fike added nine kills and an ace.

Also, Hope Miracle had three kills, while Hanna Bentley and Lily Tate added two kills each. Aly Blunk finished with 18 digs and Cristianna Boggs added 16.
