Highland scored two early goals against Lakewood on Saturday, but could not get that lead to hold up in a 3-2 loss.
Lakewood scored twice in the first half to tie the game heading into the intermission and then scored the only goal of the second half with only 43 seconds remaining to narrowly win.
Zach Granger and Brennen McLaughlin both scored for the Scots in the match.
