Northmor claimed a win in their first Knox Morrow Athletic Conference game, topping Fredericktown 25-20, 25-16, 25-14 on Thursday.

The Knights got five blocks and four kills from Hope Miracle, while Anna Donner added three blocks, one ace, nine digs and 13 kills. Leslie Brubaker finished with two blocks and four kills.

Caitlin Thebeault picked up two aces, six kills and eight assists and Jordyn Zoll tallied one ace and 20 assists. Also, Kelsie Fike had one ace, Cristianna Boggs added 13 digs and Aly Blunk finished with 11 digs.

Highland Scots

In Highland’s first league volleyball match of the year, they dominated Danville at home by scores of 25-7, 25-6 and 25-12.

Raina Terry had 14 kills and four aces to lead the Scots, while Bailey Santo contributed seven aces and three kills. Makenna Belcher picked up six kills and six aces, Gena West had four kills and Mikaela Brown tallied three kills and three aces.

Also, libero Bridget Oder was honored before the match with the game ball from Saturday’s match with Delaware Hayes, in which she eclipsed the 1000-dig mark to become the second player in school history to accomplish that feat.
