Northmor added three more wins in four tries on Saturday, as they traveled to Delaware Hayes for their dual meet tournament and finished third in that event.

Northmor defeated Hilliard Davidson 44-30 and topped Bishop Hartley 57-15 before losing to Clayton Northmont 42-27. In the third-place match, they avenged last year’s State Duals loss to Amanda-Clearcreek by winning 44-30 over the Aces.

Three Knights were perfect on the day. At 138 pounds, Conan Becker earned three wins and took a fourth win by forfeit. At 145, Conor Becker got two pins, a major decision and a forfeit. Competing at 152 pounds, Matthew Ross started his day with a decision and then claimed three straight wins by pinfall.

Four more Northmor athletes were able to win three of four matches at Delaware. Manny Heilman got a pin and two forfeits at 106. Competing at 126 pounds, Jake Neer won by major decision and decision. He also won by major decision at 120. Mason Burger had three pins at 182 pounds, while Nathan Price got two pins and a decision at 195.

At 170 pounds, Kyle Price was 2-2 with wins by pin and decision. D.J. Christo won by pin and forfeit in four tries at 220 pounds. Also, Gavin Ramos (113), Austin Amens (120/126), Tony Martinez (160) and Tyson Moore (285) all won one match on the day.
