Local volleyball and soccer teams had their tournament draws on Sunday.

In the Division III volleyball draw, Highland received the top seed again and will open at home with Liberty Union on Tuesday, Oct. 18 at 6 p.m. The winner of that contest will host Mount Gilead on Saturday, Oct. 22 at 2:30 p.m. Also playing Tuesday at 6 p.m. will be Northmor, who earned the seventh seed and will host Worthington Christian. The winner of that match hosts Cardington on Saturday, Oct. 22 at 2:30 p.m.

Highland will play in the Division II soccer tournament. The boys’ team takes the field first, traveling to Whitehall-Yearling on Monday, Oct. 17 for a 7 p.m. game. The girls’ team will visit seventh-seeded Bexley on Wednesday, Oct. 19 — also at 7 p.m.
