The Mount Gilead boys finished first at the Fredericktown Invitational on Tuesday, winning a 23-team race in the cross country meet.

Austin Hallabrin took first place overall in 16:20.4 to pace the MG effort, while Casey White was sixth in 17:04.12 and Nick Weiss took seventh in 17:19.66. Liam Dennis finished 10th in 17:33.73 to give the Indians four runners in the top 10. Kyle White placed 24th in 18:09.45, Brandon Stevens ran 31st in 18:27.16 and Gavin Robinson was 41st in 18:41.92.

Also, Trevor Ball was 43rd, Tyler Clark finished 46th, Gavvin Keen ran 66th, Sy Shipman placed 85th, Riley Conners took 91st, Connor Page ran 99th, Isacc George finished 128th, Nathan Johnson was 143rd, Josh Brown ran 146th and Josh Conaway took 198th.

Northmor finished fifth in the race, as James Walker was 20th in 18:02.53 and A.J. White took 21st in 18:04.13. B.J. White finished 50th in 18:55.51, Mostyn Evans ran 77th in 19:32.51 and Manny Heilman placed 86th in 19:37.35. Kyle Price finished 90th in 19:39.82, while Alec Moore was 106th in 19:54.16.

Also, Kaleb Hart finished 121st, Calvin Komer was 153rd, Austin Amens ran 155th, Kolton Hart took 206th and Josh Cramer was 247th.

Highland finished right behind the Knights in sixth place. Branton Howard led the Scots, finishing 34th in 18:30.61. Collin Kipp ran 37th in 18:34.10, while Dalton Lee was 51st in 18:55.83 and Tyler Bowen took 57th in 19:07.27. Christian Miller placed 78th in 19:33.04, Christian Buchholz ran 89th in 19:38.17 and Zach Wetzel finished 104th in 19:51.56.

Also, Chandler Bumpus was 119th, Bruce Jordan ran 122nd, Jacob Serio placed 130th, Jimmy Tebbe took 148th, Luke Rinehart was 156th, Bode Sardinha claimed 174th, Nefiano Bumpus took 191st, Caleb Carder ran 195th and Justin Brown was 215th.

Gilead Christian didn’t have a full team in the meet. Sean Linder finished 39th in 18:38.24, Justin Jones was 60th in 19:10.53 and Kuane Whitt ran 137th in 20:31.25.

Centerburg won the girls’ race, while Mount Gilead was the highest-placing Morrow County team, taking third of 20 teams. Baylee Hack led the Indians by finishing fourth in 19:25.51, while Darcy Picker took 17th in 21:04.99 and Hannah Bush ran 26th in 21:30.74. Micah James was 31st in 21:45.78 and Madison Fitzpatrick claimed 35th in 21:50.93. Bridgette Millisor took 56th in 22:41.63, while Makayla Weaver was 81st in 23:28.69.

Also, Jadyn Shipman finished 87th, Savannah Randall took 131st, Zoie Barron ran 190th, Dakota Shipman was 207th, Deani Smith finished 209th, Monica Lawrence placed 213th and Kelly Baer was 214th.

Northmor ran fourth in the meet, with Samantha Peters finishing 14th in 20:56.48. Sabrina Kelley took 27th in 21:33.69 and Maria Lee followed in 28th place with a time of 21:36.03. Julianna Ditullio finished 30th in 21:44.57, while Brooke Bennett was 38th in 21:56.56, Selena Cortez placed 64th in 22:59.66 and Brooke Huntsman took 65th in 23:04.38.

Also, Samantha Grogg was 71st, Madison Christo placed 139th, Carolyn McGaulley took 146th and Allyssa Pearce took 200th.

Highland finished 12th, as Sophia Thompson ran 19th in 21:09.71 and Laura Spearman placed 34th in 21:50.74. Elizabeth Jensen ran 85th in 23:35.13, while Jenna Brown took 129th in 25:33.02. Hailey Howard was 132nd in 25:43.58, Madison Cecil ran 144th in 26:16.58 and Clarissa Dudgeon placed 148th in 26:24.87.

Also, Samantha Trusler finished 151st and Morgan Bailey took 208th.
