Highland overcomes visiting Northmor in volleyball

Highland’s volleyball team remained undefeated after topping Northmor 25-11, 25-15, 25-18 at home Tuesday.

The Scots (9-0, 6-0 in league play) got 21 kills from Ashton Terrill. The Scot senior, who has committed to play collegiately for Northern Kentucky University, also reached the 1000-dig mark in the match. She set the school record last year, topping Kristen Anderson’s total of 752.

Raina Terry added 11 kills, while Taylor Belcher finished with six kills and three aces and Kelsey Walters added four kills.

The Knights (8-2, 3-2 in the league) got eight kills, one ace and 13 digs from Anna Donner, seven kills from Kelsie Fike and three each from Hope Miracle and Leslie Brubaker. Caitlin Thebeault had 12 digs and three assists, while Lindsey Wiseman added 11 digs and three assists. Also, Jordyn Zoll contributed 10 digs and 14 assists.

Highland also won the JV match.
