On Thursday, Northmor picked up a 25-15, 25-5, 25-11 win over Mount Gilead at home. Kelsie Fike had six aces and seven kills, while Jordyn Zoll added four aces, 20 assists and three kills and Rayanna Loyer picked up two aces and three kills.

Both Lindsey Wiseman and Cristianna Boggs had five digs. Caitlin Thebeault added nine assists and three kills. Anna Donner led the team with 12 kills, while Chloe Meier contributed three. The JV team also won on the night.

Cardington Pirates

Cardington opened their conference season on Thursday against Elgin, winning 25-15, 25-10, 25-19. Jordan Deskins finished with 11 kills and two aces, while Paige Clinger added eight kills. Rylie Partlow finished with 19 digs and five aces and Marissa Hall contributed 21 assists.

The JV team also won, moving to 3-0 on the season.

Highland Scots

Highland improved to 4-0, 2-0 in league play, with a 25-7, 25-9, 25-19 sweep of East Knox in a road match Thursday.

Raina Terry picked up seven kills and five aces, while Bailey Santo tallied a team-high 11 kills. Taylor Belcher finished with five kills, three aces and 17 assists, Parker Steck had 10 assists and Kelsee Bargnesi added three aces and five assists. Also, both Gena West and Kelsey Walters contributed four kills. The JV team picked up a two-set win.
