Mount Gilead graduate Taryn Chapman, a sophomore at Malone University, was one of many Malone spring athletes recognized by the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference on its 2016 Spring Athletic Teams.
Chapman, who competes on the girls’ track team, was named to the conference’s Academic Excellence Team, which is for student-athletes with a 3.5 to 4.0 grade point average.
