Vintage Motorcycle Days held at Mid-Ohio over the weekend

By ROB HAMILTONMCSSports@civitasmedia.comMotorcycle enthusiasts had plenty to look at over the weekend at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course during the AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days.There were road races, motocross events, a trials course in the woods surrounding the course, hare scrambles and dirt track races which were held at the Ashland County Fairgrounds. Also, there was the annual swap meet held by the paddock area of the facility and various seminars, bike shows and other events to keep spectators entertained.

Teens create a natural oven at Mt.Gilead State Park

As part of a survival skills class, a group of teens attending a Teen Summer Day Camp at Mt. Gilead State Park created an oven out of natural materials found at the park.Most of the kids have attended the camp for the past five years.
