Congressman Pat Tiberi (R-OH) released the following statement on the Obama administration’s Waters of the United States (WOTUS) rule:

“I have repeatedly heard from my constituents that the EPA’s WOTUS rule would have a disastrous impact on their livelihood. There is no doubt in my mind that this overzealous rule was written by Washington bureaucrats at their worst. That is why 32 states, including Ohio, have pushed back and filed suit against the federal government’s power grab over their land. The people’s House is also taking action and sending a bill to President Obama to stop this rule. If he was truly listening to our farmers, landowners, businesses, manufacturers, and local officials, he wouldn’t issue his expected veto.”
