Northmor opened its volleyball season in fine fashion, topping both Lucas and Clear Fork on Saturday.

The Knights opened the day by defeating Lucas 25-17 and 25-19. Alisha Pletcher finished with six kills, one ace on 8-of-8 serving and 10 blocks, five solo. Kelsey Reeder added nine digs and three aces on 11-of-11 serving, while Allie Tupps had 19 assists and Lauren Bood picked up 10 digs and eight kills. Also, Karlee Carroll tallied two solo blocks.

They followed up that win by edging Clear Fork by margins of 25-23 and 25-22. Tupps picked up 19 assists in the match, while both Pletcher and Reeder had six kills.

Pletcher also had three aces and three solo blocks, while Reeder added two aces and five digs. Lindsey Wiseman added two aces.
