The NWCO Steam Basketball Program is proud to announce two sharpshooters had great success at the Midwest National Event in Ft. Wayne, Ind. from July 20-23.


Brian Collier of Pleasant took third at his sixth grade level in the national event, drilling ten 3s in one minute. Furthermore, Ried Jury of George Washington Elementary claimed second in the fourth grade national shootout, canning eight 3s in one minute. Both players were recognized with special awards.


The Steam Program is expanding to both boys and girls teams in grades 3-4 to 8-9 for spring/summer 2015 action. The program runs drills throughout the year and plays in both fall and winter leagues as well.
