4:51 A.M. Complainant advised homeless people were trying to sleep on his back porch on Town Street. The complainant stated he set traps on his porch and they set them off. The officer asked the complainant how much he had to drink this morning and he stated probably 9 or so beers. The officer advised the complainant that if it was found that he was making false complaints, he would be arrested and charged accordingly.

11:50 A.M. Complainant advised her debit card was stolen and used in Galion.

9:43 P.M. Caller advised a vehicle was driving up and down Lee Street and Buckeye Lane. The driver was honking the horn and the passenger of the vehicle was yelling out the windows. The officer patrolled the area and did not locate the vehicle.


12:03 A.M. The complainant parked her vehicle in front of the North Cherry Street location and exited the vehicle. The vehicle started to roll because she had not put the transmission in park. The complainant attempted to stop the vehicle and fell causing her leg to go under the vehicle. The vehicle then rolled over her leg and struck a utility pole.

6:34 P.M. The officer cited and released a male subject on North Main Street for driving under an administrate license suspension, driving outside of occupational privileges and speed.


3:12 A.M. Officer responded with M.C.S.O. unit 995 on a reported domestic dispute on TWP Rd 108.

5:58 A.M. Responded with E.M.S. to the area of East High Street near the State Park on a reported motorist having a heart attack. Upon our arrival a O.S.P. unit was already on the scene with the subject. E.M. S. transported the subject to the hospital.


2:50 A.M. The officer assisted medic 1 and E.M.S. 9 with a 14 year old female having a seizure on Lee Street.

10:35 A.M. Complainant advised of damage to a vehicle on Lee Street.

10:40 A.M. Complainant advised of damage to her vehicle on Lee Street.

7:43 P.M. Complainant advised an African American, teenaged boy walked onto her porch and stole her cigarettes on West Elm Street. The complainant advised she went inside to close her window and the boy grabbed them and took off running. The two officers patrolled the area attempting to locate the male subject but were unsuccessful.

11:46 P.M. Complainant advised she and her friends were stopped at the red light at the square and they noticed a man standing there. The man then started walking towards their vehicle. The complainant advised the man approached the car and acted like he was going to attempt to get inside the vehicle. The light then turned green and they took off. The Sergeant and the officer patrolled the area but they were unable to locate anyone matching that description.


3:09 A.M. Complainant reported a group of approximately five subjects outside her apartment in the area of her vehicle on Lee Street. The complainant advised that her vehicle was recently vandalized. The officer advised that he did not observe anyone in the area.

1:44 P.M. The Certified attendant contacted station and advised that a male subject had just been inside the store. The attendant advised that the male subject was extremely intoxicated and had dropped a bottle of beer on the floor that he had just purchased. The attendant advised that she refused to sell the male subject any more alcohol due to his level of intoxication and he became upset and left the store. The attendant just wanted the police department aware as the male subject lives across the street from the store.

2:05 P.M. The complainant arrived on station and reported a burglary to her home on West Marion Road.

4:13 P.M. Dispatch advised she received a call form a passer by who stated there was a man walking along side the roadway on South Main Street and he was almost struck by another vehicle and was concerned for his well being.


12:58 A.M. Arrested, cited, and released a female subject for O.V.I., O.V.I. per se, and one headlight on S. Main Street.

10:31 A.M. Responded to the Douglas Street location with E.M.S. and located a female that has fallen. The officer and E.M.S. assisted her getting up and cleared the scene.

3:35 P.M. An unknown motorist flagged me down at North Main Street and Park Avenue. The motorist stated there was a maroon Jeep coming from the north on North Main Street. The vehicle was traveling around twenty miles per hour and the driver seemed to be having trouble keeping it in the road. The officer went to North Main Street and never saw the vehicle come in the village.

4:00 P.M. Complainant reported someone entered her vehicle and took her purse on Meadow Drive.

6:39 P.M. Complainant reported three juveniles threw trash in his yard and called him names on East High Street. The officer asked of he knew the juveniles were, he did not know.

9:00 P.M. Complainant reported her daughter was picked up by the father’s girlfriend on July 26, 2014 on East Elm Street. The complainant told the girlfriend she was not allowed to take the child. The girlfriend took the 14 year old daughter anyway.


12:59 A.M. The complainant advised her neighbor came over and was upset and advised he wanted to harm himself. The officer asked him what was going on, he stated that him and his sister had gotten into an altercation.

7:22 A.M. Discount Drug Mart advised they developed photographs that contained nudity involving a child.

10:25 A.M. Emergency room staff requested assistance with a disorderly female patient. Upon the officer’s arrival the female calmed down and didn’t cause any further problems.

3:06 P.M. The complainant was turning in to the alley behind Chase Bank from East High Street. The vehicle in front of her backed up and struck the front of her vehicle. This caused property damage only.

8:03 P.M. A Detective from the Merriam Police department requested that an officer make contact with a female on North Main Street.

11:05 P.M. Two officers were assisting E.M.S. with a reported unconscious, unresponsive. The subject was intoxicated, arguing with family members and E.M.S. personnel. The male subject was arrested for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
