The Trinity United Methodist Church in Mount Gilead is hosting a speghetti dinner and auction benefit for Janet Poppell on June 12 from 2 – 6 p.m.
Janet was diagnosed with terminal cancer one year ago.
She has fought the cancer strongly for the entire time but has now been told there is nothing else they can do for her.
Her family is trying to raise funds to help with expenses that have been incurring in order for her to spend as much time with her family and not worry about anything else.
Dinner will be served on a donation basis and silent auction itmes will be available. Tickets are $20. Contact Cathy Poppell at 419-560-5221 for more information.
