Johnsville Volunteer Fire Board President Dean VanHorn turned the first shovel full of dirt for the department’s new station.

JVFD recognized those fire personal that has answered 500 calls during their career and presented the Harlan Barrick Community Comtitment Award.

This Award Is Presented To Fire Personnel That Have Shown An Untiring Dedication To The Johnsville Volunteer Fire Department, The Perry – Congress Joint Fire District “and their community ” .

To achieve this award Fire Personel must have answered 1,000 calls.
