Jenkins-Vaughan Post 97 of the American Legion and Friends of Cardington have teamed up to bring a variety of activities at the American Legion Park on Memorial Day.

In addition to the parade and program at Glendale Cemetery, the park will host a visit from Bill and Cresha Foley, American Civil War history storytellers.

The program will begin at 10:30 a.m.

They will also bring artifacts and flags to display. Bill was recently commissioned by the Discovery Channel to

be a consultant on the Civil War.

The Ruggies Food Truck will serve food from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Following the program at the cemetery, there will be free swimming at the Cardington Pool from 5 – 7 p.m.

There will be bike decorating contest for all bicyclists who participate in the Memorial Day parade.
