Cardington’s seniors, meeting for their monthly luncheon on April 22 at the Senior Center, Mount Gilead, learned about “Birdhouses! Fact to Fiction,” during the program presented by Mia Shotwell and Kay Evans.

The women, who are Headwaters Volunteers, stated several facts and countered them with the fiction statements related to birdhouses.

They shared the dates of several upcoming events at Headwaters, located at 181 Home Road: A Wildflower and Mushroom event will be held on May 15 and A Free and Clean Energy event will be held on June 28.

Program chairman was Carolyn Poorman.

The seniors enjoyed lunch catered by Morrow County Hospital. Cookies were made by senior volunteers.

Conducting the meeting was Shirley Robinson, president. The seniors will meet next on May 27 at the Senior Center.

Reservations can be made by calling the Senior Center by May 26.
