On April 6, 1966, Eva Wintermute married the only love of her life, Fred Criswell, at the New Testament Church in Sparta.

Eva was a Highland High School graduate, while Fred attended Prospect High School.

Fred worked as a drywall hanger for many years and retired from Carpenter Local 200 after several years. Eva worked three years for Colonial Manor Nursing Home and has been employed with TR Residential Care Facilities for around 30 years.

The Criswells are the parents of three girls: Kellie (Rob) Bishop of Marengo, Mary (Mike) Friend of Marengo and Hope Perkins of Marengo.

They have five grandchildren: Tommy and Misty Bishop, Ally Criswell, Jacob and Gage Kearns and one step-granddaughter Miracle Friend. The Criswells will be celebrating the event with a family dinner.
