March 18- Assist other unit

Mount Gilead Police assisted in a locating a suspect from Marion who was in violation of probation.

March 20- Investigate complaint

Police were called to investigate a man who was sleeping in his car in the Kroger parking lot.

March 20- Possible burglary

An officer was dispatched to a South Main Street business regarding a possible break-in. The officer secured the location after finding no evidence of forced entry.

March 20- Theft

A West High Street resident reported that his prescription medicine was stolen from his residence.

March 21- Narcotics complaint

Police observed two South Main Street residents cleaning their marijuana pipes. The officers confiscated the paraphernalia giving the individuals a warning and informing them to invest in blinds.

March 21- Misdemeanor warrant

A South Rich Street resident was arrested on an active misdemeanor warrant out of the Mount Gilead Mayor’s Court.

March 22- Domestic complaint

Police recieved a call from a West Walnut Street resident concerning an intoxicated individual who refused to leave the residence. Officers were dispatched to the home and resolved the issue without a further complaint.
