On March 25 and 26 from 7-9 p.m., the Marion County Historical Society, located at 169 East Church St., will present the 9th annual “A Night at Heritage Hall” a fun-filled evening of self-guided flashlight tours throughout Heritage Hall, a historic 1910 Federal Post Office converted into a museum.

As visitors tour by flashlight, (provided) around every corner and in the most unusual places, they will meet historic personalities from many different eras and walks of life. This year’s museum exhibit is the Civil War and many of the characters will be from that era. . Visitors can expect to meet President and Mrs. Woodrow Wilson; former Ohio Governor Jerimiah Morrow; 1872 presidential candidate Victoria Woodhull; U.S. Grant and Julia Dent Grant, the infamous Nan Britton; Sarah Hahn, wife of a country doctor; Willing Turtle of the Leni Lenape and many other local historic personalities.
