The Morrow County Chamber of Commerce welcomed Highland’s Student of the Month, Connor Ulrey at their March 15 meeting.

Ulrey is a senior and Highland’s Guidance Counselor, Katie Pauley, noted that he is also a “terrific baseball player.”

Pauley called Ulrey a role model of how to be a gracious, humble and respected athlete. She added that his sportsmanship and conduct are appreciated by all.

Red Cross Blood Drives are a very important extracurricular event for the Highland senior. He schedules, advertises and organizes all the blood drive events for the school district.

Pauley said Ulrey is always seen with a smile and his character exemplifies the word “positive.” He is well respected by his peers and the staff at school due to the way he treats others.
