The Morrow County Community Center will be offering spring programs to meet county residents’ fitness needs, as ACE certified personal trainer and health coach, Stephanie Cowles, will be instructing functional fitness classes at the center.

Cowles programs are personally instructed and customized for the individuals moving toward personal fittness goals.

‘Program A’ will be offered Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays beginning at 10 a.m.

Tuesday and Thursday classes and individual sessions will also be offered with time to be determined. Additionally, the trainer will offer individual fittness instruction.

The center is also kicking off its spring Zumba class sessions with certified Zumba instructor Emily Smith.

Classes will begin on April 5 at 6 p.m. in the Morrow County Community Center’s Activity Center at 50 S. Main St.

“I have been instructing Zumba for a little over a year,” Smith said. “But it has been my joy and passion for much longer than that. I want to share my love for it with all of you, so please come to check it out.”

Zumba classes will be held Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 6-7 p.m. and Saturdays beginning at 8:30 a.m. The spring session will go from April 5 through May 28. Smith hopes to continue classes in the summer with a session beginning after Memorial Day.
