Members of the Morrow County Historical Society will conduct their annual ‘Dinner & Meeting’ on April 14.

The event will be held at Trinity United Methodist Church, 75 E. High St. in Mt. Gilead.

The general public is welcome, you need not be a member to attend. The evening will begin with a social mixer at 6 p.m. and dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m.

Tickets can be purcahsed by calling Phylis Miller, at 419-946-7264 or by mail.

If ordering tickets by mail, please include name, address, phone number and number of tickets desired along with a check made payable to, “Morrow County Historical Society”. Reservations are due by April 4.

The featured program, entitled, “Preserving Our Past, Enriching Our Future” will take the audience through a journey of milestones from the society’s 45-year history, exciting events of the past year and their vision for the future.

The MCHS is also raffling a small piece of Morrow County History. The proceeds will benefit MCHS.

The society is selling tickets for a rare RumRill vase with Forest Fire Glaze, produced at the Florence Pottery Factory, Mt. Gilead, Ohio in 1940. The Vase was purchased by an anonymous donor from the private collection of Ed Kline. Tickets can be purchased locally by calling Donna Carver at 419-560-8100 or they can be purchased at the dinner.
