Morrow County Fire and Emergency agencies are responding to a blaze on the 6000 block of County Road 25 in Fredericktown.

The fire broke out at approximately 10:15 a.m. and originated from the home owner’s chimney neighbors said.

Mount Gilead and Big Walnut Fire Departments contained the fire from torching the entire structure, but the rooftop suffered extensive damage.

Those in the home were evacuated safely and no injuries were reported. First responders are investigating the official cause of the fire.
