The break from winter weather will be short lived for Morrow County, as temperatures are expected to drop over the next 12 hours, bringing snow along with them.

According to the National Weather Service, today’s forecasted high of 53 degrees will turn frosty, as temperatures are predicted to fall to 31 degrees overnight. The rain that has hit Morrow throughout much of the day is expected to turn to snow by early morning. Snow accumulation is predicted to be less than one inch.

Temperatures are expected to hang around the low to mid-30s tomorrow. New snowfall is expected to taper off by tomorrow evening but not before dumping 1 to 3 inches of fresh accumulation.
