Former Morrow County Commissioner Tom Harden passed away yesterday at his home in Mount Gilead.
At the Morrow County Commissioners’ meeting this morning, Commissioner, Tom Whiston spoke with feeling as he mourned the death of his colleague and friend.
Whiston recalled the many ways Harden had served Morrow County as Sheriff for 24 years as well as two terms as County Commissioner.
Current Commissioner, Richard ‘Dick’ Miller said his death is unexpected. Miller spoke with him on the phone yesterday and Harden was returning from Florida and was looking forward to getting home.
