The IRS has announced that the 2016 Tax Season will begin on Jan. 19 and that the filing deadline will be extended this year by three days, according to the Association of Mature American Citizens. Instead of the traditional April 15 cutoff date for sending in your 2015 returns, the deadline this year will be April 18.
