This holiday season members of The Highland FFA chapter took the FFA motto into consideration, especially the line “Living to Serve”. On Dec. 11, a dozen members visited residents of Bennington Glen Nursing home and decorated Christmas cookies and spread a little holiday spirit. Also during the month of December, the chapter held a penny war. The Ag classes competed by putting change in jars that would go towards the chapter adopting a family. It is always important to give during the holiday season; whether you give your time, spread smiles and laughs or do something helpful for your community.
