Morrow County residents in search of employment can continue their search inside the county, as Frontier Communications announced that the company will be adding 45 full-time and 91 temporary-term positions at its state headquarters facility in Marion.

The growth will help support the company’s upcoming purchase of broadband and wireline assets in California, Florida and Texas as well as the company’s rollout of high-speed Internet service throughout many rural areas of Ohio over the next six years as part of the Federal Communications Commission’s Connect America Fund.

“I applaud Frontier and thank them for all that they do for Ohio workers and families,” U.S. Congressman Pat Tiberi said. “Their success is a true testament to their commitment to Marionand our region.”

The company is seeking Residential and Business Customer Support Representatives, Customer Support Supervisors and Network Engineers among other part-time and full-time positions.

“These positions will support our growth in Ohio and the new assets we will be acquiring at the end of the first quarter,” said Dave Davidson, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Frontier’s Ohio Operations. The additional positions will boost total employment at the facility to more than 400 positions and statewide to approximately 950.

“This is a great employment boost to our community. This will have a positive impact on our local economy and we welcome the new jobs that Frontier will be bringing to Marion County,” said Gus Comstock of Marion Can Do.

Many of the positions are already posted on the career page of the company’s website at www.frontier.com/careers. Those interested in any of the positions are encouraged to go on line and submit an application.
