Holiday hours for Sentinel

The Morrow County Sentinel’s office at 46 S. Main St. in Mt. Gilead will be closing at noon on Dec. 24 and Dec. 31. The office will be closed Dec. 15 and Jan 1 as well.

Rumpke announces holiday schedule

Rumpke’s residential waste and recycling collection will be delayed due to Christmas and New Year’s Day. For the Week of Christmas: Rumpke service will not be affected on Monday thru Thursday. Service will not occur on Christmas Day, Friday, Dec. 25, and collection will be delayed one day the rest of the week. Friday’s collection will move to Saturday. Week of New Year’s Day: Rumpke service will not be affected on Monday thru Thursday. Service will not occur on New Year’s Day, Friday, Jan. 1, and collection will be delayed one day the rest of the week. Friday’s collection will move to Saturday. Rumpke will return to its normal collection schedule on Monday, Jan. 4.

Cardington Library seeks trustee

The Cardington-Lincoln Public Library has a vacancy for a library trustee with a 7-year term beginning January 1, 2016. This is a volunteer position. Interested Cardington-Lincoln School District residents should send a cover letter accompanied by a resume or other statement of qualifications to the President Board of Trustees, Cardington-Lincoln Public Library, P.O. Box 38, Cardington, OH 43315. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled.

Dance held every other Saturday in Marion

A Dance is held every other Saturday from 7-11 p.m. at Sawyer Ludwig Park in the Shrine Building at 1313 White Oaks Rd., Marion. Admission is $8 for adults. The next dance will be held Jan. 9. Food and non-alcoholic beverages are available. No smoking.
