Sparta Advent Christian Church will host a Community Open House on December 16 at 6:30 pm to celebrate their participation in Highland Elementary School’s annual Angel Tree program.
Pastor David Young Jr. says they are offering a free Christmas Cookie & Cocoa night for anyone in the community to participate. In addition to those items, they will be having Christmas music, games and a free children’s craft project for those who want to participate.
Additionally, the church adopted a family to assist the school and will be collecting any last minute items that may be donated to the program. Chiefly, they are going to be collecting additional funds to purchase gift cards to supply food and other items for the family.
Sparta Advent Christian Church is eager to serve their larger community. They are located at 1137 South Church Street, Sparta.
