Eighty One Angels were remembered when the annual Hospice of Morrow County’s Angel Tree Memorial was held at the Hospice facility on December 5.
Family members hung angels on the brilliant silver Christmas tree as the names of their loved ones were read. This was followed by a commemorative candle lighting ceremony.
The musical prelude was played by pianist Vicky Boggs and Steve Brenneman offered three vocal selections: “Once in Royal David’s City,” “In My Life” and “There’s Still My Joy.”
Hospice Chaplain gave the devotions and closing words and Julie Blankenship, Hospice director, gave the welcome. Pat Clark, RN Patient Care Coordinator and Brandi Courts, LSW, each gave a special reading. Names of the angels were read by staff members with Hospice.
