The Marengo Country Kids 4-H Club held their May 31 meeting at Highland Middle School.
Project books were distributed to all 4-Hers. All members attended a quality assurance if they were showing animals. Jr. Fair entry forms were filled out. Members were reminded of the mandatory pre-fair weigh-in/registration for feeders, market goats, market sheep, and registration for breeding rabbits on June 7.
Judging times were discussed the early judging will be June 22 at 6:30 pm., regular judging is July 13 and food judging is July 14 at 9:30 am. with clothing at 2:00pm. Anyone interested in Goat/Poultry/ Rabbit and Bee Ambassadors the forms are due June 7.
A goat clinic will be held at Michelle Wright’s house on June 14. The meeting ended with a health and safety demonstration.
The next meeting will be June 28 at Highland Middle School.
