The Daughters of Union Veterans of the Civil War, Tent 91, Galion, met for its regular meeting Tuesday, November 3, 2015, at the home of Lois Rinehart. President, Cathy Brown, was in charge of the meeting.

Communications included: Ohio Department General Orders and “The Veteran” newsletter.

Relief report consisted of: 1 flowers for the ill, 17 personal visits, 81 cheer cards to sent and 98 volunteer hours.

The two 50 year service pins were ordered for two of our members. Nomination of officers was conducted with the same slate of officers remaining for another year.

Next meeting will be the annual Christmas Potluck at 6:00 p.m. The $5.00 we would spend on an exchange gift will be put toward the purchase of two wreaths for Wreaths Across America. This will get a wreath for the Ohio Veterans Home in Sandusky, Ohio to be used at their cemetery. Janice Cass will be hostess for the December meeting to be held at the home of Lois Rinehart.

An article telling about a Civil War Picnic being held at the Morrow County Fairgrounds 100 years ago was read for the Good of the Order.

Mystery gift was won by Lois Rinehart. Refreshments were served by Judy Sanders. Next meeting will be held December 1, 2015.
