Six students, carefully selected from the Cardington FFA Chapter, attended the recent Ohio Legislative Leadership Conference (OLLC) in Columbus.

Attending were Marissa Hall, Olivia Jones, MaKenna McClure, Libby McConnell, Alicia McElwee and Tiara Snyder.

OLLC is a state program led by the Ohio state officers and Ohio legislators.

The six students started the day with a tour of the state house. Following the tour they went with the Ohio State FFA officers and Ohio legislators to learn and participate in lobbying a bill.

Following the tour and learning how to lobby a bill the students ate lunch at the state house with 100 other FFA students and two state legislators.

All students who attended had a great time and are looking forward to attending again next year.
