ASHLAND COUNTY

State Route 39

SR 39, from SR 603 in Richland County to the Holmes County line, has intermittent single lane closures for finalization work as part of a resurfacing project. SR 39, just west of State Route 511, is also reduced to one lane of traffic for bridge repair work maintained with a temporary traffic signal. The project is expected to be complete by November 30, 2015.

State Route 96/East Main Street

East Main Street, just west of US Route 42 in the City of Ashland, has lane restrictions as work continues on the north side of the roadway with waterline installation and roadway widening. Motorists should expect intermittent lane closures around the intersection area as additional work remains. The intersection improvement project will be complete in November 2015.

Township Road 350 – ***NEW***

TR 350, at its intersection with State Route 58 in Sullivan Township, will close Monday, November 2 from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. for a culvert replacement.

ERIE COUNTY

State Route 2

SR 2, between State Route 60 and State Route 61, is reduced to one lane of traffic in each direction for bridge repair work at several locations. One lane of traffic will be maintained at all times in each direction. The project will be complete in September 2016.

US Route 250 & Perkins Avenue

The intersection of US 250 and Perkins Avenue has lane restrictions when necessary as work continues with paving, sidewalks, traffic signal items and other miscellaneous work. The project is expected to be complete in late November 2015.

US Route 250

US 250, has intermittent lane restrictions for excavation work as part of a corridor improvement project between Bogart Road and Sycamore Line Road. Crews are working in various areas along the route, and specific project work can be found online at transportation.ohio.gov/250. The project carries a completion date of September 2016.

HURON COUNTY

State Route 547

SR 547, just west of the Wheeling & Lake Erie Railroad Crossing in the village of Monroeville, is closed for a sewer project. The detour route is SR 547 to State Route 4, north on SR 4 to US Route 20, east on US 20 to State Route 99, south on SR 99 to SR 547, and reverse for westbound motorists. The road is expected to reopen at the end of November.

LORAIN COUNTY

State Route 2

SR 2, between the Ohio Turnpike/Interstate 90 split and Middle Ridge Road, is reduced to narrowed lanes of traffic for a major bridge rehabilitation project. Two lanes of westbound traffic are maintained using a contraflow traffic pattern where one lane for local traffic is maintained on the westbound side. Two lanes of traffic will be maintained at all times in both directions. Motorists are encouraged to use extreme caution while navigating this work zone and watch for slower moving traffic as it merges in to an open lane. The project is expected to be complete in October 2016.

State Route 57

SR 57, between the Ohio Turnpike and Schadden Road in the City of Elyria, is restricted to two narrowed lanes of traffic in each direction for work as part of a major reconstruction project. Motorists are advised to use extreme caution in this area and watch for slower moving traffic as it travels through the work zone. The project is expected to be complete in August 2016.

State Route 58

SR 58, from North Ridge Road to just north of Cooper Foster Park Road in the City of Amherst, is restricted to traffic as part of a resurfacing project. The majority of work will take place from 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Motorists should expect delays on this project and use caution while traveling near the work locations. The project will be complete by mid-November 2015.

State Route 58

SR 58, just north of State Route 18 in the village of Wellington, is closed for new roadway alignment tie-in work as part of the railroad grade separation project. The detour route is SR 58 to SR 18, west on SR 18 to State Route 511, north on SR 511 to US Route 20, east on US 20 to SR 58, and reverse for southbound motorists. The road is expected to reopen November 16, 2015.

State Route 252

SR 252, just south of State Route 82, is closed for a slide repair project. The detour route for southbound motorists is SR 252 to State Route 82, west on SR 82 to State Route 83, south on SR 83 to State Route 303, east on SR 303 to SR 252, and reverse for northbound motorists. The road is expected to reopen November 20, 2015.

Taylor Street

Taylor Street, at its intersection with State Route 58 in the village of Wellington, is closed for work as part of the SR 58 railroad grade separation project. Detour will be posted. The road is expected to reopen in late November 2015.

MEDINA COUNTY

State Route 57

SR 57 is reduced to one narrowed lane in each direction over Interstate 76 for bridge deck patching work as part of a previous resurfacing project. The project is expected to be complete by November 30, 2015.

State Route 83 – ***NEW***

SR 83, north of Seville Road (TR 46), will close Monday, November 2 for railroad reconstruction work. The detour route for northbound motorists is SR 83 to Interstate 71, north on I-71 to US Route 224, west on US 224 to State Route 421, south on SR 421 to SR 83, and reverse for southbound motorists. The road will reopen Saturday, November 7, 2015.

State Route 94

The southbound lane of State Route 94 is closed at Highland High School (between Wilbur Road and Granger Road) for a turn lane construction project. The northbound lane of SR 94 will not be affected and can travel through the area. The detour route for southbound motorists is SR 94 to Interstate 271, south on I-271 to Interstate 71, south on I-71 to State Route 18, east on SR 18 to SR 94. The lane will reopen in late November 2015.

State Route 303

SR 303, between West 130th Street and Interstate 71, is reduced to one lane of traffic in each direction as work begins to resurface the roadway. All work will be done at night in this area. The project is expected to be complete by mid-November 2015.

County Road 46

CR 46 (Seville Road), just west of Leroy Road in Westfield Township, is closed for a bridge replacement project. The detour route is Seville Road to Leroy Road, north on Leroy Road to Greenwich Road, west on Greenwich Road to Westfield Road, south on Westfield Road to Seville Road, and reverse for eastbound motorists. The road is expected to reopen on November 30, 2015.

RICHLAND COUNTY

US Route 30 – ***NEW***

US 30, between Fifth Avenue and State Route 309, will be reduced to one lane of traffic beginning Monday, November 2 for pavement repairs. All work will take place during the nighttime hours. One ten-foot lane will be maintained in each direction at all times, and the speed limit will be reduced to 45mph through the work zone. The project will be complete November 30, 2015.

State Routes 39, 61 & 96

Within the City of Shelby, State Route 39, State Route 61 and State Route 96 are being resurfaced as part of an urban paving program. One lane of two-way traffic will be maintained at all times with flaggers. The project will be complete in Spring 2016.

WAYNE COUNTY

US Route 30

The westbound lanes of US 30, from US Route 250 to State Route 57, are restricted to one lane of traffic as part of a preventative maintenance project. One lane of westbound traffic will be maintained at all times, and eastbound traffic will not be effected. The project is expected to be complete on November 6, 2015.

State Route 57 & Church Road – ***NEW***

SR 57, at its intersection with Church Road, will close Monday, November 2 for railroad crossing reconstruction. Church Road will also be closed. The detour route for northbound motorists is SR 57 to US Route 30, east on US 30 to State Route 94, north on SR 94 to State Route 585, south on SR 585 to SR 57, and reverse for southbound motorists. The road is expected to reopen Saturday, November 7, 2015.

State Route 585 – ***UDPATE***

SR 585, from SR 57 to Gates Street, is reduced to one lane of traffic for a resurfacing project. One lane of two-way traffic is maintained in each direction with flaggers. Motorists should expect delays on this project and plan for additional travel time through the work area. The project is expected to be complete by November 6, 2015.
