Brooke, Cook crowned at MG Homecoming

Seniors Morgan Brooke and Deondrè Cook were crowned Homecoming Queen and King prior to Friday night’s game against the Centerburg Trojans.

The 2014 Queen Shannon Lyle and King Joseph Elson were on hand to crown to the new royalty. Earlier in the day, the middle school and high school held a joint pep rally in the football stadium, where the Jobs for Ohio’s Graduates program was awarded with the trophy for the best homecoming float for the high school, and the Beehive program received the trophy for the best homecoming float for the elementary.

In the Powder Puff game that was held after the parade on Wednesday, the seniors emerged victorious against the juniors.
