This week, Mount Gilead High School kicks off their homecoming festivities Wednesday, Oct. 21 at 7 p.m. with a parade.

The parade route begins at the fairgrounds, travels down Main St. to Park Ave., and ends up on the high school football field. A pep rally will take place on the field prior to the junior vs. senior Powder Puff game that begins at 7:45. Immediately after the Powder Puff game there will be a bonfire.

Mount Gilead’s Homecoming ceremony will take place Friday, Oct. 23 at 6:40 p.m. with the introduction of the court and crowning of the 2015 Homecoming King and Queen. The game against the Centerburg Trojans will commence at 7 p.m.

The homecoming dance will take place Saturday, Oct. 24 from 8-11 p.m. at the high school. The dance is semi-formal, and all tickets must be purchased at the school ahead of time.
