Marion, OH – Director Clare Cooke announces auditions for “Christmas at the Palace 2015-Hometown Blessings” to be held Sunday, October 18 from 1 pm-4 pm on the Marion Palace Theatre main stage.

All acts and ages will be considered for this family-friendly holiday show. The production traditionally includes a variety of community members in choirs, dance numbers, instrumental ensembles and light-hearted, yet touching, scenes of the season. An accompanist will be provided for vocal auditions. CD’s are permitted. Those auditioning should enter through the front theatre doors.

This original production, written and directed by Cooke, enlists hundreds of friends, neighbors and family members who delight the audience with song and dance acts, which range from heart-felt and traditional holiday favorites to comical and contemporary numbers.

Performance dates for “Christmas at the Palace 2015” are Friday, December 4 and Saturday, December 5 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, December 6 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $17, $22 adults, $12 children age 12 and younger. The show is sponsored by OhioHealth Marion General Hospital. Supported by the Ohio Arts Council.
