Father Bakle from Sacred Hearts Church, Cardington, brought the message when the Baccalaureate service was held Saturday, May 30, in the Patrick Drouhard Auditorium at the Cardington-Lincoln High School. The service was part of the weekend graduation activities honoring the C-LHS Class of 2015.

During this program a total of $52,425.00 was given by individuals and organizations in scholarship awards to members of the C-LHS Class of 2015

An additional $101,125.00 was awarded from the colleges and universities to those graduates who will be attending there.

The Lillian E. James scholarship was first given in 1956. This is the first year a total of eight has been given, each in the amount of $1200.

The scholarship was established in memory of Lillian E James who was a teacher in the Cardington School in the early 1900s. It was established by her brother, Wilder James.

Giving the Invocation and Benediction at the Baccalaureate service was Pastor Jerry Stephens, Vineyard Church of Morrow County.
